South Bellevue Community Center
History
In 2004, the City of Bellevue and Boys & Girls Clubs opened the South Bellevue Community Center (SBCC). This partnership focuses on health and wellness and provides educational and recreational activities for the entire community. This unique partnership has gained national attention and is being emulated in a number of other cities.
Youth of the Month
The South Bellevue staff and kids are pleased to recognize Savannah as the Youth of the Month. Savannah is always listening and willing to lend a helping hand. She is alert and attentive for the next activity planned.
This Month at South Bellevue
We have a few activities going on through the month of November. Many of our activities revolve around the fall/autumn season. Each Wednesday another Club will come visit and challenge us to a football game. In art, our members have to opportunity to design or build something out of clay. They are also doing multi-cultural art projects from Mexico.
