The Diplomas to Degrees program is a new initiative to get teens prepared for college by offering SAT prep classes, college visits and tours, guest speakers, and career development.  The program is sponsored by Toyota Financial Services.

Teens involved in Keystone or Diplomas to Degrees, are welcome at Teen Feed dinner served for them on Tuesday nights at 6:00 pm.

Junior Staff Program for Summer

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue is currently looking for energetic and outgoing teen volunteers that want to learn what it takes to be a counselor at the Club.  Junior Staff are assigned to a counselor and their camp to provide assistance in running the daily activities.

Teens entering 9-12 grades that participate in this program will develop interpersonal skills, work ethic and sense of community responsibility.  The program provides teens with age-appropriate skill-building opportunities and hands-on experiences in four areas:(Career development, Apprenticeship, Customer service, Community service).

Every Monday morning teens will receive training at The CLUB Teen Center before heading to their designated site. Tuesday through Thursday they will go directly to their sites. On Fridays they will return to the CLUB Teen Center for some more training and evaluation of the week. Teens must commit to a two-week block over the summer.  Call Teen Center for more info (425) 429 3203 or email at Matt mhaggart@bgcbellevue.org
