Day Camps

Hours are 9:30am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday.
(All programs will be CLOSED on Monday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day)

Overview
The Club is committed to providing an enriching summer camp experience for every youth. Youth will participate in a variety of activities in the Club’s core areas: Character & Leadership, The Arts, Sports, Fitness & Recreation, Education & Career Development and Health & Life Skills. The youth will also have the opportunity to participate in weekly field trips or special events. Youth will leave camp having had the opportunity to discover new interests and talents, make new friends, learn to work and play together and create life-long memories!

Weekly field trips are back! Your child will have the opportunity to participate in a weekly field trip corresponding to the weeks theme. There is a $5.00 field trip fee for each member.

Trailblazers Grades 3 & 4 (in 2011/12 school year) $125/week
Caravan Grades 5 & 6 (in 2011/12 school year) $150/week

Session 1: June 20 - June 24

Excalibur
If you like kings and queens, castles, dragons and magic, then this is the week for you! Come spend the week with us in the medieval world of King Arthur. 

Session 2: June 27 - July 1

Where in the World is ...?
From North and South to the East and West, we’ll search high and low. Come travel the globe with us searching for the ever elusive mystery staff!

Session 3: July 5 - July 8*

Guess Who?
Do you like computers? Do you like art? This week is all about YOU! Come explore and open your eyes to all the different career opportunities out there and what is special about you!

Session 4: July 11 - July 15

Under the Sea
Grab your scuba gear! Dive under the sea! Come swim with the fishes as we navigate through a whole new world!

Session 5: July 18 - July 22

In the Spotlight
Can you sing, or dance? Perform magic tricks? Maybe theater is your forte… Come show off this week and get a chance to be in the spotlight! Are you the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue’s next great talent!

Session 6: July 25 - July 29

Beneath Our Feet
The bees are buzzin' in the tree, to make some honey just for me. When you look under the rocks and plants take a glance at the fancy ants. Grab your walking shoes and magnifying glasses to explore Mother Earth.

Session 7: August 1 - August 5

Washington My Home
Did you know that Washington is home to one of the only temperate rainforests in the world? Have you ever tasted Aplets & Cotlets? What is our state song? Come spend this week learning and experiencing all the unique attributes of Washington State.

Session 8: August 8 - August 12

Island Breeze
Do you like island adventures? Or searching for a pirate’s treasure? Sit back, relax and join us in this week of tropical adventures!

Session 9: August 15 - August 19

Animal Planet
Swing with the monkeys in the Amazon rainforest, run with the cheetah in the Serengeti and dive for food with the emperor penguins in Antarctica. Grab your binoculars as we take a journey through the animal planet.

Session 10: August 22 - August 26

Time Warp
Come experience the magic of traveling through time as we explore centuries past. Set your time machine to fun as we visit eras from the prehistoric to the present!

Extended Hours
The extended hours provide working parents the opportunity to have their child participate in fun activities beyond the normal camp day.

Sunrise 7:30-9:30am $20/week
Sunset 4:00-6:00pm $20/week
Both 7:30-9:30am & 4:00-6:00pm $30/week

Registration Information
Each child must have a current Club membership valid through the camper’s last day of camp. The first session must be paid in full at the time of registration. Each additional session requires a $25.00 deposit which is non-refundable. Camp fees must be paid two weeks before the start of each camp session. A late fee will be charged to payments not made on time. All participants must have Club Membership through the end of Summer 2011.
