Director of Development
Jade Hayes
As the Director of Development, the bulk of Jade's fundraising efforts are currently centered on special events with an annual budgeted goal of well over half-million dollars. Special events include the auction, golf tournament, women's luncheon, and "Friends" business breakfast. Jade is in her fourth year with BGCB. She began here as Resource Development Coordinator in 2005 until appointed as Director of Development in 2007. She works under the direct supervision of the Club's President / CEO and also works closely with the Board of Directors
Jade earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and her secondary teaching certification for the State of Washington at Seattle Pacific University. She spent seven years teaching middle and high school English in Tacoma before coming to the Boys and Girls Club in 2005. She has been coaching basketball for over thirteen years and is currently the head girls' varsity basketball coach at Bellevue Christian High School.
