Main Clubhouse
Project Learn
Project Learn reinforces the skills and knowledge young people learn throughout the school day. Project Learn includes POWER HOUR, a comprehensive homework assistance program.  Each day, programs are offered in 5 core areas: Education, Sports Fitness & Recreation, The Arts, Health and Life Skills and Character and Leadership Development.Â
Youth of the Month
The youth of the month was Paul.
Paul is fairly new to the Main Club and has done a great job of fitting in. Paul
is part of Club Connects, our middle school program. Paul is always willing to
help out and loves to volunteer to work with the younger kids. He is always
asking the staff what he can do to help and always has a positive attitude.
Great job Paul!
This Month at the Main Clubhouse
The month of May has been a fun
month here at the Main Club. Club Connects have been busy working on creative
writing. They plan on making a Spring/Summer Newsletter. The art room has made
sand art and is currently working on paper mache piggy banks. In the Tech Center
the kids have started learning how to design websites. We have been using club
bucks as our incentive program. The kids earn club bucks by following the rules,
being a good friend, helping out the staff and other various things. Then they
take those club bucks and put them in a bank account. At the end of the month
they can use that money and buy their way into an incentive party. This month
was had over 35 kids attend the party.
