Melissa Brzusek
Melissa is the Resource Development Coordinator for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bellevue. She brings over 11 years of experience on the youth programming side of the Club and is now excited to contribute to the club as a part of the administrative staff as a grant writer and fundraiser.
Melissa first became a member of the Club in 1986 when she started to make the trip to Bellevue from California every summer to visit family and attend summer camp. After high school, she moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington and worked after school as a part-time staff at the club’s numerous sites throughout Bellevue. In 2004, Melissa graduated from college with a degree in International Studies and joined the ranks of full-time staff as the Education Coordinator, then Unit Director and Volunteer Coordinator, and finally left the Club in 2009 as the Teen Center Director. In 2011, after a 2 ½ year hiatus, she could not stay away any longer and rejoined the Boys and Girls Club movement.
