Chris Burnside
Chris came to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bellevue in 2001 with 3 years of Club experience already under his belt, working at the Boys and Girls Club of Mercer Island. During his time here he has served as a Program Aide, School Site Director, Assistant Area Director, Assistant Athletic Director and is now the South Bellevue Area Director.
Chris was born and raised in Bellevue and spent his youth playing sports and staying active. His passion for working with youth started when he was in high school when he coached 4-7 year olds for Skyhawks’ Multi-sport camp. After high school he attended the University of Washington where he got his degree in Sociology. In his efforts to stay active and give back to the community, Chris has run numerous 5k charity races and recently completed the Seattle Rock and Roll Half Marathon. He also enjoys flag football, softball, fishing and anything that gets him outside!
