Small Photo 5Project Learn
Project Learn reinforces the skills and knowledge young people learn throughout the school day.  Project Learn includes POWER HOUR, a comprehensive homework assistance program.  Each day, programs are offered in 5 core areas:  Education, Sports Fitness & Recreation, The Arts, Health and Life Skills and Character and Leadership Development.

Youth of the Month
The Youth of the Month for May was Moses. Moses is a leader among the K-5 grade members at the Club. He sets a great example during Power Hour and is an influential and passionate member of the Torch Club. Moses also enjoys playing soccer on the Intramural team, participating in Dance Club, and Cooking Club. He is always helpful, kind, and funny to other members. Great job, Moses!

Teen of the Month
The Teen of the Month for May was Kia. Kia has only been attending the Club for a little over a month, but has already made a big impact. She is organized and is on top of her school work, while remaining really social and involved in activities at the Club. Kia enjoys cooking, attending the Teen/Late Night programs, and using the computers. She has a great sense of humor and we are so excited she joined the Club. Congratulations, Kia!
