Jim's first exposure to the Boys
& Girls Clubs of Bellevue was in
1964, when he first became a
Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue
club member. In 2000,
thirty-six years later, Jim
became a volunteer at the Main
Club and then joined the
full-time staff in 2002.
Jim spent time at the Boys &
Girls Clubs of King County
before returning to Bellevue in
2000. He has four brothers who
also grew up in the club.
Jim's three nephews and two
nieces are currently club
members as well. Because
of these many connections to the
Club, Jim refers to it as an
extension of his family.
