Project Learn
Project Learn reinforces the skills and knowledge young people learn throughout the school day.  Project Learn includes POWER HOUR, a comprehensive homework assistance program.  Each day, programs are offered in 5 core areas:  Education, Sports Fitness & Recreation, The Arts, Health and Life Skills and Character and Leadership Development. 


Youth of the Month
Stevenson’s Youth of November is Jesus. He is always willing to help others and is very respectful. Jesus enjoys helping our younger members with homework; Jesus has been a great role model for our members. Congratulations, Jesus!!!

Special Programs This Month
On Thursdays we will offer an activity conducted by the Boy Scouts. Members do not have to be a boy or a member of Boy Scouts to participate, however permission slips are required. Ask Kristi for permission slips or questions.

In January we will begin participating in a learning opportunity with Mercer Slough. This has been a popular program with our members in the past and we look forward to doing it again this year. Mercer Slough interns will come to Stevenson and teach our members, only those with permission slips will be able to participate.

All Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue will be CLOSED January 16th, 2012 in Honor of MLK Jr. Day

Payments are to be made by the 5th of every month!

Programs offered at Stevenson
This month we are offering a wide variety of program options. We offer:

  • Power Hour, homework help/ tutoring program
  • Drama Matters is our drama program, which is a favorite among many members.
  • Triple Play is our healthy mind, body and soul program, combining exercise with healthy eating and healthy competition.
  • Club Zoom is our weekly science program; one experiment they will focus on this month is the mystery of the microwave!
  • Our Digital Arts program teaches our members how to create art using computer programs.  This culminates in a festival each year.
  • Skill Tech is used to increase our members’ efficiency in using our basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fit Club is our weekly fitness program where members can compete against themselves to better their times and numbers for a variety of fitness activities such as sit-ups and push-ups.
  • Fine Arts is a year long program which teaches our members how to work with different mediums of art such as watercolor and pastel.
  • Youth for Unity is a program designed to help members appreciate and understand our society's diversity, recognize unfairness and take personal leadership in confronting bias.
  • S.M.A.R.T. Moves (Skill Mastery and Resistance Training) is a program to teach members to make healthy life choices, learning appropriate times to say “no”, developing assertiveness, strengthening decision making skills, as well as resources to improve confidence.
