Ryan Scott
Ryan is the Vice President/COO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue. He brings 20 years of experience working both in non-profit and higher education to his current position.
As the Vice President, Ryan is responsible for supervising all operational aspects of the organization. He currently oversees the Club’s program delivery, finance, technology, facilities and membership management. As Vice President, Ryan has played a significant role in improving the Club’s financial management, expanding Club programs and developing unique partnerships with the Bellevue School Distirict, the City of Bellevue and major corporate partners.
Previous to joining the staff at Boys & Girls Clubs in Bellevue, Ryan worked as the Director of Development, Northwest for Outward Bound. In this role Ryan facilitated all Development efforts for the Pacific Northwest. Through these development efforts, Outward Bound provided more than $1.5 million in scholarships for deserving young people each year.
Ryan has also worked with Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area and Willamette University. While at Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland, Ryan directed one of the four major Clubhouse locations and played a significant role in the renovation and re-opening of the organization’s oldest facility. While at Willamette University, Ryan served as the Director of Annual Giving, and coordinated annual fundraising efforts totaling $1 million each year.
Ryan is a native of the Seattle area; he and his wife Laura have two young boys Tyler (7) and Justin (5).
