Preschool

Ages: 2½ - 3½ Yrs
These classes offer a loving, secure environment for a child’s first preschool experience. The successful separation from parents and the development of a positive bond with the teachers are primary goals of these classes. The classroom environment will be structured to foster the development of the child’s communication and social skills.

Ages: 3 Yrs 
These classes provide the children with opportunities for exploration through age-appropriate activities and through interactions with adults and other classmates. An environment is created in these classes that encourages the development of acceptable social skills and learning habits. This environment will foster the growth of self-confidence in each child. Occasional field trips are taken.

Ages: 4 Yrs 
These classes are designed to develop a child’s social, emotional, and cognitive, talents through fun, safe and fascinating activities. Pre-reading skills, number and letter recognition, scientific explorations—all are integrated into the curriculum for the 4-year-old child. Five fun field trips are taken during the year.  The Ponies class goes on a field trip each Friday.

Ages: 4-5 Yrs 
The Enrichment Class (Eagles) is unique to the Bellevue Boys & Girls Clubs Preschool. This three-hour field trip class meets once a week. Children bring a sack lunch, are loaded into the Club van (in age-appropriate child booster seats) and embark on a different adventure each week. Field trips include the trout farm, Museum of Flight, Maritime Museum, Kelsey Creek Farm, Krispy Kreme, Salmon Hatchery and local parks. Parents are invited and encouraged to join these fieldtrips. (Entrance fees covered by tuition.)

Ages: 3½ - 5 Yrs 
This unique class, offered to 3 ½ through 5 year olds, is designed to provide a hands-on opportunity to explore math and science in an integrated format. We will be doing age appropriate and fun experiments weekly and we’ll be introducing your children to the scientific method. A wide variety of scientific and mathematic concepts will be explored with an emphasis on learning to make observations and conclusions. The maximum number of children is 12 with two teachers. The lead teacher for next year’s class will be Kim Taylor

Lunch Bunch - Ages: 3-5
Older children meet, bring their lunch and enjoy a less structured time after their school day.
