Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue

A limited number of Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue Clubs are open while schools are closed. All athletic programs are postponed until further notice. We are in close contact with Governor Inslee’s Office, Bellevue School District, and the King County Board of Health, Department of Children, Youth, and Families to provide support for work families who need childcare. We currently have no evidence of the virus in our Clubs.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue's Downtown and Hidden Village Clubhouses are currently providing childcare and food for first responders, healthcare workers, essential workers, and vulnerable children.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue's daily schedule is subject to change on short notice given the rapidly changing circumstances in response to this public health crisis. Following re-opening, we will make decisions about Club operations on a day-to-day basis. As always, we continue to rely on government officials at the city, state, and federal levels to guide our decisions as we navigate this crisis in our community.

As part of our COVID-19 (coronavirus) response, we will be sending regular email updates with information and updating We want to express our appreciation for the patience of our BGCB community as we work through the challenges COVID-19 has presented us.

Why are schools closed and you are still open?
Following Governor Inslee's announcement that all public and private K-12 schools in Washington will close over the next six weeks, we began working in partnership Bellevue School District to find a way to continue serving the youth who need us most, including planning how they will continue to provide meals and other vital services while schools are closed. In alignment with our mission to serve the youth who need us most, we are committed to keeping our doors open and expanding our services to best serve the needs of the community for as long as we can.
