*COVID-19 Update:  Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue is continuing to monitor updates from Washington State Department of Health and the CDC.  We will adapt our camps as needed following all guidelines to keep our members and staff safe.  Our camps will be updated as we learn more information.

All payments are due two weeks PRIOR to the first day of camp. Scholarships are available but limited to 4 weeks. BGCB will be CLOSED on Monday, July 5, 2021. 

 

*Teens not enrolled in a camp can attend drop-in programming with weekly registration.

 

TEEN CAMP OVERVIEW

Teen Camp gives teens an opportunity to participate in all that the Clubhouse has to offer. Our teen camps are offered at our Lake Hills Clubhouse location. Club Staff and/or local experts in music engineering, digital arts, 3-D modeling, gardening, recreational activites, art and more. 

 

Specialty Camp Overview

Specialty Camps gives teens an opportunity to dive into a subject for a whole week and geared towards those in 6-9 grade. All of our teen specialty camps will be offered at our Lake Hills Clubhouse location. Club Staff and/or local experts in the field will provide an engaging week full of fun. Each young person will bring home their work to share with you after their week of learning.  

 

Session 1: June 21 - June 25

Music Composition                                          

Here comes the music! Members will learn or further develop their knowledge of music composition, mixing and mastering. We will also record vocals and instrumentation, learn playing techniques for keyboard, guitar, bass and drums as well as work with each other to create a portfolio of our work to show off after. 

 

Session 2: June 28 - July 1

Baking Camp                                        

Learn to bake some sweet treats! If you would like to be able to make your own cake pops, pies, cookies, and more, then this is the camp for you. You'll take home tasty treats and new skills!

 

Session 3: July 6 - July 9 (Clubs CLOSED July 5th)

Garden Camp: Growing Gardens                                               

Test out your green thumb by joining us at The Club for a week of gardening. We will spend the time planting different types of flowers and veggies and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

 

Session 4: July 12 - July 16

Video Production                                          

Get ready to film! Members will have opportunities to try acting, directing, and editing film projects. Members will have a portfolio of all their different projects and roles they worked on during camp. We will also meet directors and actors virtually.  

 

Session 5: July 19- July 23

Art Lab

Get ready for a week of art immersion! Explore and mix different art media including drawing, watercolor, graffiti, mixed media, collage, and acrylics. We’ll also be visiting some art museums virtually.

 

Session 6: July 26 - July 30

Fitness Camp : 2021 Olympics                                     

Let’s celebrate the 2021 Olympics by diving into our very own fitness week. Join us at The Club and we will spend the week learning about how to live a healthy and active life. This will include safe fitness practices and nutrition. 

 

Session 7: August 2 - August 6

Illustration Academy                                                           

Create original art and study different artistic styles. Create a portfolio of all your illustrated work to show off. Collaborate with other camp members. Develop or further develop your own artistic style. Make comic books and story boards.

 

Session 8: August 9 - August 13

Podcast

Like Podcasts? Let's talk about that! Create your own podcasts and post them on the internet! Learn about what makes an interesting and engaging podcast. Make podcast art and learn about marketing your podcast. 

 

Session 9: August 16 - August 20

Cooking Around the World

Stamp your culinary passport as we learn fundamental cooking techniques while exploring the unique flavors and foods of the world!


Registration Information

Each camper must have a current $27.00 Club Membership, valid through their last day of camp.  All payments are due two (2) weeks before camp starts.  A $5.00 fee will be added to all "day of registration"; advance registration is encouraged.  A $10.00 fee will be charged on all transactions switching from one camp to another.

Refund Policy: Requests made before the due date, two weeks before the start of camp will be processed minus a $25.00 fee.  Requests made after the due date will be processed at 50% of what has been paid toward the camp. To request a refund, you must contact your Site Director or the Downtown Club prior to the first day of the program. No refunds will be given once a camp begins. Memberships are non-refundable.
