As we commemorate our 70th anniversary, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue's (BGCB) influence remains profound. We continue to rise to meet the diverse needs of those who need us most. Now more than ever, our programs, activities, initiatives, and sports are invaluable to the community.

Our 17 Clubs throughout Bellevue ensure all youth have safe places to go during critical out-of-school hours. Our professional staff provides an atmosphere where members can grow emotionally, establish strong relationships with others, and receive academic assistance when needed – all while getting access to nutritious snacks and meals.

In 2022, we saw a marked increase in the number of kids served. More than 12,200 youth, 3,211 of whom are registered members, participated in our myriad of programs. Each Club continues to foster an environment of security for families in the community. We provide transportation services from school sites directly to our Clubs. Our staff has served more than 100,000 healthy snacks, an invaluable service as half of our registered members qualify for free and reduced lunch.

So, what do all those numbers mean?

They mean that whether a Club is located in a school, a community center, or free-standing, like our Downtown Clubhouse, we are dedicated to doing whatever it takes for our youth. While the pandemic has left lasting impacts on our members' lives, BGCB remains dedicated to bravely tackling issues facing our youth so that they can get back on track to their great futures.

Each donation to BGCB stays in our community, providing valuable services for Bellevue kids. With your generous contributions, BGCB provided nearly a million dollars in program scholarships last year, ensuring that no child goes without access. Together, we are creating opportunities for kids with limitless potential – thank you for being part of it.

As we look ahead to 2023 and our next 70 years, BGCB remains steadfast in our mission to enable all Bellevue youth to reach their full potential. Together, we will continue to provide an invaluable lifeline for countless children from all walks of life.
